01 / THE QUESTIONS

Asked before a specification is signed.

These are the questions that change a configuration. The answers are deliberately specific.

01

What is your lead time?

Around 60 days from a confirmed specification to dispatch. The window depends on the configuration and the destination, so we confirm it in writing with the quote rather than giving a blanket number. If a project has a fixed commissioning date, tell us early and we will work backwards from it.

02

What is the minimum order quantity?

One unit. A single evaluation scale is a normal starting point for a distributor who wants to test the equipment on a real site before committing to a larger order, and we would rather earn the roll-out that way.

03

Can you build a non-standard deck size?

Yes. The standard deck is 3500×1000 mm with a widened 4200×1000 mm option, but dimensions are configurable. For mixed fleets with different wheelbases we use ZDG multi-deck combinations, so send the longest vehicle and the wheelbase spread and we will propose a layout.

04

Do you provide installation guidance?

Yes. Installation and maintenance are in-house teams, not subcontracted hand-offs. We support drawing review, commissioning and operator hand-over, and the same people who built the equipment remain reachable afterwards. A 58 mm direct-bury plate removes most civil works; a permanent welded deck needs a prepared foundation.

05

Can the system run unattended?

Yes. The indicator and acquisition stack is built for 7×24 unattended operation. If the network drops, records are cached locally and reconciled when the link returns, and multiple stations can be managed from one central view.

06

What accuracy class should I expect?

The weigh-in-motion plate is classed at ±0.5% dynamic accuracy — Class 1 for total vehicle weight and Class E for single-axle loads, following the classification in the product manual — across 1–100 km/h. Static weighbridge capacities run at 20, 50 and 100 ton. If an authority you answer to specifies a class, send the wording and we will confirm the fit before you commit.

07

Portable or fixed — which do I need?

It comes down to civil works and permanence. A 58 mm low-profile plate that direct-buries with no pit suits temporary checkpoints, quarries and sites that may move. A fully welded U-shaped steel closed-cavity deck suits a permanent lane cycling thousands of times a week. Many distributors end up specifying both for different customers.

08

What payment and trade terms do you work with?

Payment is T/T. We quote EXW, FCA, FOB, CNF, CIF, DAP or DDP, so tell us which term your import process uses and the destination, and we will set out the documentation and the delivery window in the quote.

09

Do you export to my country?

Jiajia Forge equipment is trusted in 70+ countries. Tell us the destination and we will confirm the documentation, the trade term and the delivery route for that market rather than assuming one trade term fits every port.

10

What is included in a weigh-in-motion station?

Four subsystems: the wide-flange plate that produces axle signals, licence plate recognition that attaches an identity to the pass, an LED information board for over-speed and over-limit prompts, and a data acquisition subsystem that stores and forwards the event. The software layer adds image-to-video linkage, anti-cheating detection and central management.

Tell us what you need to weigh.

Send the axle loads, deck size and site conditions. We will come back with a factory quote, the trade terms and a delivery window you can plan around.
